Great night

Last night was great.

I met up with April straight after work and she looked suitably embarrassed by the bouquet of roses in her arms. We then went back to mine for some champagne and and to listen to some Black Keys.

We then headed out to a lovely Michelin stared pub not far away in Putney. I had a lovely steak, April had lamb and some to this day unidentified bits of meat. My money's on an escalope, although we may never know.

We then went to the Half Moon to see if there was any decent acts on. Fortunately there were. Nigel Clark (ex front man for Dodgy) was playing with his new band. £7 each to get in but it was freezing outside so we took the chance. He was actually very good and it was more of an amusing chat / music evening. There must have been 20 people tops at the venue but it was pretty cool all the same.

The band were good and they played a few of his old hits.

Overall I had a really great evening.
