London's great

I stayed over at April's last night so had to use the Northern Line this morning. Upon getting to the station (Clapham South) the queue (rabble) was overflowing out onto the street. There was no way we would have got into the station let alone onto an already crowded train.

Usually between 0 and 2 people can squeeze onto each door way when a new train comes in. The must have been 200+ people in the entrance, let alone down the escalators onto the platform.

As it was a nice day we decided to walk across the common and catch the 35 bus. I used to get this bus when I lived in Kennington so didn't think it would take too long. The bus goes through some of the nicest parts of London, notably Brixton, Camberwell and Elephant and Castle before finally reaching the City.

In all the journey took 1h 50 minutes to travel 7-8 miles.

Don't you just love London? I can't really complain though. I only missed the best part of an hour at work!
