ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of 60s radio show Round the Horne and the principal female was Betty Marsden who died in the home in 1998 whilst having a beer in the bar. Wikipedia: "Marsden had been chatting to friends in the home's bar when she collapsed into a chair, with such apparent grace that she spilt not one drop of her drink".
What a trouper! What a way to go! (mind you I would have finished mine first).
