It is quite amazing that there is a linage today of a person who has been physically blessed all the way back to Peter who had his feet washed by Christ.
I have heard some pretty strange things may be going on behind the scenes at the vatican so I can't really judge, only God knows the heart of each person, its best to place your faith in God and Christ, perfect Holiness, rather than in any man on earth as we are not perfect.
If you place your hopes in mankind you will be disappointed again and again, I dont think its right to worship any person, as Jesus himself said he who is the greatest is the least and a servant of all, so I dont think the whole papal hierarchy veneration of a man is right. (Matthew 23:9)
All focus should be on God and Christ who was Gods Spirit incarnate.
