Watching the NFL and saw this. Unbelievably the commentator didn't mention it.

From tomorrow I'll have worked for 4 years at Kiln. Will I do another 4?

Small world or big brother

I had a look on the people you may know on linked in today and 10 entries down was Miles Jacobsen. For those not in the know he's the studio direct of sports interactive. The company behind Football Manager.
He's 3 steps away from connecting to me. Basically a few people I know, know people that Miles knows. I'm not massively shocked that I know someone that knows someone who knows one of the greatest men alive. I am a little concerned however that he should be quite do high up the list.

I have no mention of football manager on my linked in (professional networking site) page so why would it be quite so high up on my list. He’s a third connection, there are plenty of second connections that surely the site might think I have a better chance of knowing before they start suggesting him. Why not suggest Barack Obama? Or Steven Gerrard? Or Kermit the Frog?

I can see a rainbow

The view on my way to work with April.

I feel sick

I've been ripping dvds so that I can play them on my tablet during my commute. Here's a list of the ones i've done so far.

Lord of the Rings (All 3 extended editions 6 disks)
Caddy Shack
Dodgeball
Spaceballs
The Great Outdoors
Moon (not seen it yet)
Ronin
The Crow
Grosse Pointe Blank
High Fidelity

I've been watching Ronin over the last couple of days and this morning I watched in my opinion the greatest car chase ever. It's the scene towards the end when they're driving through the tunnels in Paris. Anyway, as I was pulling into London Bridge I looked up and felt a bit queasy. Bloody hell. Do I need to take travel sickness pills now?

Chuckle vision

Watch "ENTREVISTA LA VOLPE" on YouTube

I was watching some of the new feature blogs for football manager 2013 thing morning when this popped up as a related video. Remind you of anyone? Perhaps a Spanish Chuckle Brother.

Poor cat

I've got to take Biscuit to the vets again this morning. She's due for a check up this weekend after her operation last month but she's started to get another problem so better be safe than sorry.

Hey good looking

Black eye from Saturday's game. You should see my hip... Ouch.

Oops!

Just deleted all of Shaheen's wedding photos that he'd shared with everyone using dropbox. Oops!

Every time I logged on to my laptop they'd sync and clog up my hard drive so I deleted them from my dropbox folder not knowing that this would delete them from the shared folder online too.

Oops.  Now he has to upload them all again.  Oops.  Luckily he's got a back up.

Lunch

Pan fried salmon on a bed of couscous, feta and pomegranate with a glaze of maple syrup, balsamic vinegar and chilli.

Yum.

April prepared

April well prepared for watching me play rugby in Reigate last Saturday. Their ground and clubhouse were amazing. £6.5m it cost apparently, some local donated it.

And spotted this gem, Danny Dyer doing an appearance at Rockafellas in Corby

What a tosser!

Christ on a bike watched

I watched Richard herring's Christ on a Bike over the past couple of days during my commute. Fairly good and funny in bits although the subject matter (bible, Christ) or anti the subject matter holds very little interest to me these days. It's all a load of rubbish so I just don't pay it much attention.

I went to a friend's baby daughter's christening last Sunday in an awesome church in Holborn. It went pretty quickly so wasn’t too bothered.

The vicar / priest (not sure) made me laugh though when he mentioned that a local imam (spelling) asked if his congregation could use their church one day a week as his venue was too small. His facial expression was hilarious along with

“I’m not going to tell you what I said to him…”

I’m going to try and get tickets for Richard Herring (Leicester Square Theatre Podcast) next week. Should be good. I’ve listened to about 10 of his previous ones, plus all 50 of his Edinburgh podcasts plus his popular As it Occurs to Me. I think the very least I could do was buy one of his DVDs and see him live.

How clean do you want your house?

On the way into work this morning a land drover sped past then stopped to pick up someone.  On the back was Ghurka cleaning.

http://www.gcals.co.uk/

For some reason or another Tonbridge has a fairly high proportion of ex Ghurkas and their families.  Good on them.  If our new cleaner wasn't so good we'd certainly give them a shot, although it may be a bit of overkill.  How clean do you need your house???

Wow

Just turned on my laptop for the first time in over 2 weeks!

Bloody hell, I don't think i've done that for over 10 years (dif computers).  That new tablet must be good.

Deja vu

http://www.watdefu.com/2011/04/at-least-it-last-game-of-season_10.html

I've pretty much got the same injury, sustained a couple of weeks ago. Ouch. It's really store getting money out of my pocket. Oh well April may have to pay for everything for a while...

Any challengers?

Feature test

Trying a new feature on my camera phone. Can you tell which one was done manually?

Swan poo

April made an origami swan with our bill. I made a paper aeroplane and some swan poo.

Sounds good to me

With the release date of the revamped Baldur's Gate getting delayed, http://baldursgate.com/ I found this.

10 years

On Monday I past 10 years working in the city.  Jeez.  That's gone quick.

Over four years at Lloyd's of London
Nearly two at A.J. Gallagher
Very nearly four here.

In that time i've lived in Clapham twice, Kennington, Deptford twice, Battersea, Putney and now Tonbridge where we've been for over 4 years.

I'm now married and have two cats.

We've had two cars.

I've gained about 1 stone in weight

I've now got a 'beard'

Roll on the next 10...
