Biscuit walked past a candle earlier and Brent some of her whiskers. She's now trying to set herself on fire by the open fire.

We hadn't been to our old local in ages so popped in for a couple on Saturday night.

One of the regulars that we talk to had a word with me when I was ordering another beer at the bar.

"Here's £10"
"What's that for?"
"The bet"
"What bet?"
"Dave hadn't died so I owe you"

Basically we had a bet about 6 months ago that one of the other regulars would die before the new year. He didn't, so I gained £10!

One of our friend's heard about an interesting topic on Friday's Woman's Hour (Radio4).  Before I could say what the fuck, I was inside BBC's Broadcasting House (W1A).

April recently joined the Green Party and in order to make sure that each of Tonbridge's local election wards had a candidate for the Greens they asked her to stand for the election!  All she needs now is 10 signatures from our neighbours.  To help her look the part, I ordered a Green Party rosette.

Great party last night

April's been in the UK for 10 years now so we decided to have an Australia party.

Great fun and I managed to stay up till about 3 which is unheard of for me these days.

2 working days left till I'm off for 10 days

We're off to Belgium again, Brussels to be precise for another The Swallows European tour.

After that, we're off to Sherwood Forest for 4 four nights in one of those cabins with a hot tub. Can't wait.

After that we're making a flying visit to Corby, before heading to Nottingham to see royal blood.
