Cat walk
Poppet getting very brave in her old age. Walking along the side of the bath. I don't think either of us would have enjoyed it if she fell in.
Band night
April's old band had a gig on Friday night so popped along. Ended up getting back home gone 12:30. Urgh.

Stinking cold
Left work early today as I had / have a stinking cold. There are a fair few others that have got something too. Yuk!

Didn't waste time
The pub on our street has been sold, the new owners didn't waste time in getting straight to work.
Unfortunately they're not replacing it with anything good. Just more flats.

I cooked a crab pasta fish for lunch, topped off with 2 lobster tails. Then I went to Sankey's for dinner where I had more.

Biscuit helping
I had about 10 mates over on Friday for the opening of my pub. Sausage and beer was the order of the day.
I ended up going to bed at around 3:15. Biscuit went to bed early as you can see here.

Well, that was ill planned
I ordered 2 cubic meters of wood for the fire last month, they arrived today when it was 17 degrees. Loads of fun stacking it up outside the house then carrying more than half up to the tip of my garden to the shed

Spring clean
The pub on our street shut down last weekend. It's now getting turned into flats. Because that's exactly what Tonbridge needs. Anyway, I think it's important that all streets in the UK should have their own pub so have reopened mine.
The wives of Tonbridge are having a girls night on Friday so I said I'd open the pub up for the husbands. It needed a bit of a clean as I've not really been up there since October last year.
Cleaned the bbq too as that hasn't been touched since August...
Plus tested the chiminea. It didn't need cleaning and is not broken. Just wanted to burn shit.

Well. That's a turn up for the books
Who'd have thought the torys would get in on their own?
Not me. Not the media.
Putting policy aside, I do think it's better having one party in control.
Getting things done is better than not doing half of the things that need doing.
This election does point out some glaring holes in our political system. Despite how much you dislike UKIP, you can't deny their popular support. They got more than double the number of votes as the SNP but the SNP got 50+ seats compared to 1.
