This is what happens when you play with Poppet. Don't say you weren't warned.
She's a killer.
April's trialing a new concept of food delivery. Basically you order meals on line and each week the ingredients and recipes get delivered to you.
We tried it or last night and was quite impressed. Burgers with sweet potatoes and harissa. It's all measured so supposedly no waste.
A new game arrived yesterday, hopefully I'll get to try it out on April tonight.
I've been playing it on my phone for a week so hopefully I can beat her.
My favourite pub in the city had had a bit of a revamp. It's had a fresh lick of paint and certainly looks a lot tidier but they've gotten rid of the chairs and tables that I sir on with James! They've replaced it with this monstrosity. There's now no room for a table to put your drink on.
We went to burger and lobster yesterday for lunch.
Verdict: very good.
Basically. 3 things on the menu
Lobster
Burger
Toasted lobster sandwich
£20 each and that comes with fries and a small salad.
+ plus you could go off piste and order a larger lobster
It must be the cheapest place in London to get a whole lobster. Wine wasn't cheap but I think it was worth it. April even paid so even more value for money!

It was excellent. It was a tapas style service where you order a handful of items from the menu.
We had some tuna thing, some pork belly, cauliflower, peach salad and the best cougette flower thing ever.
Fairly reasonable price too.
Loved it.
Another run this morning, feeling much better. Next challenge is to write my name or draw a big cock.
Poppet on her perch this morning. Catching some rays. Her usual habitat is locked in a room somewhere after she'd snuck in.
With me doing a load of work in the garden and a little bit of helping April painting the shelves and cupboards inside and out Biscuit too done time out to relax.
The door handle came off the spare room's door so we can't shut it. Poppet is making the most of it.
It's so slick, unless the surface is perfectly level it has a tendency to slide off. It's happened about 4 times now.
I bought a new pair of shoes last week and surprisingly they're no longer hurting. They are however annoying
The laces that came with it keep untying themselves. It's as if they're made of Teflon.
I used April's cross trainer for the first time this morning. Very good. A bit sore now though. 2 days of exercise in a row is certainly not what I'm used to.
6/9 of our team are out on a working in the community day today so I'm left back in the office. The other actuarial teams ate similar plus hr and risk.
Can't remember what it's called but it had a very good mechanic.
Other games played?
Elder Signs
Fortune and Glory
Coup
Star Flux
Love Letter: Batman
Best festival on Friday, board games on Saturday back home. Shattered now.
I think the cats have the right idea.
I think we need more cds...
We got our cabinets built in the living room alcoves plus a shed load of shelves for our cds in the music room.
Biscuit knocked my phone in the bath on Saturday. Bloody cat.
It worked to begin with but started playing up in the morning. I needed a phone as I was off to Wembley later for the ac/dc gig.
My number should go back to normal tomorrow so if you need to contact me and don't already have it post something here and I'll be in touch.
Watches the tumble weed slowly rolling by
Just got asked by Google to review my privacy settings do too a look at my location history.
Jeez. They even know if I went to the pub at lunchtime!
We had a dinner party last night so I cooked 8 poussins. I was a little worried they wouldn't all fit in the oven at one point.
Needn't have worried, everything turned out well.
Here's done photos from our last trip to the metal bar. Good place but having gone 4 times the music did get a little repetitive.
Some photos from the jeep safari. I had to hold onto the phone quite tightly so sorry about the finger.
