Bloody vegetarians!

I think it's one of April's favourite things.  Coming home from a hard days work to find her husband's been experimenting in a freshly cleaned kitchen.

Have I changed?

I've got the day off today to sort things out for the bbq tomorrow and have been kicked out of the house by the cleaners so thought I'd grab some lunch.

Labels have arrived

Free ice cream

Free ice cream at work today. Nice.

Up to floor 19 now

BBQ 1/3 of the week

We cooked some sausages over the fire pit last night,  followed by some bananas.

Tonight we've got some friends over then the main event on Saturday for my birthday party.

Bloody wasps

Our neighbour pointed out that we may have a wall nest in our house yesterday.

Looks like they've deployed themselves in a loose brick between April's dresser and the bathroom.

We've got guys round next week to hopefully exterminate them.

Station cat doing the rounds

Sapphire was doing the rounds last night at the station.

Yikes

My dad made me check out one of his neighbour's front gardens.  Wow. I guess he won't have to mow it.

£3.05!

I'm paying £4.85 for a pint of Kronenburg in the city. This was in the Wetherspoon in Kettering. Blood hell.

My nan's dog Joey

Popped round my mum's house and met my nan's dog Joey. He's a 2 year old Jack Russell / chiwowa. Good fun.

Not sure why Rich is pulling that face

But here's his little puppy Lily.

Brewmaster Clark is back

Bottled everything up on effect night.  10 days wait but hopefully it will taste okay and not kill anyone. Only 11 bottles though.

Poppet making herself at home

You leave something in the house for 5 mins and one of the cats finds a use for it.

Office fridge

That's what I call a well stocked office fridge

7.91km

I ran nearly 8km this morning.  Pretty tired now. 3 records too.
-Longest run
-Quickest average pace (not going to challenge any world records anytime soon)
-Most calories burnt
I've got a tight left calf though so may not be out again tomorrow morning.

My dice arrived

And they're lovely. The D4 is a pain to get out with my munted fingers though.

15th and 16th floors up now

The lift shaft is nearly as tall as Lloyd's. A fair few floor left to build on the Scalpel.

Tonbridge Calling

A very successful day at the inaugural Tonbridge Calling. April's cake stall made £420, I convinced a friend to get their face painted! We ended up in a local Indian restaurant with her face still painted. He,  he.

My attempt at fondant potatoes

Not a bad attempt. Plus I felt like a TV chef as I popped outside to the garden to pick fresh thyme.

Here's a couple of photos from this morning's run

It was very pretty.

Maybe I should have used this one

My new background

I needed a new background photo for my phone as it was factory reset. Biscuit happily volunteered to model for me.

Legs akimbo

More wildlife

Plus a little stunned mouse.  He was sitting just outside the pub.  Not sure what happened to him but he was gone by the time we left.
