Bourbon Street Revival at the 100 Club

I'm tired this morning, I've gotten home gone 12:30 twice in a row now.  Urgh.  Yet another band.  This time one of Steve's.  The Bourbon Street Revival at the 100 Club.  A Great small venue.  The Trident Waters were on before hand and were great.  So good I bought their EP.  They were a bit Soundgarden / Audioslavey.

Jeff Lang

We saw Jeff Lang last night over in Camden and he was excellent. Pete and Steve joined us too and I've now been ropped into going to another gig tonight at the 100 club. Another late one I think. Urgh.

2 weeks to arrive?

I need to wear a 'funky' hat for our rugby dinner in a couple of weeks so ordered this from a page on etsy

It's been dispatched but from the other side of America.  Fingers crossed it arrives.

I think a max of 5 people out of the 100 or so at the dinner will know what it is.

2nd watering of the day

It's doing well but still not full embedded just yet. According to Google, another two weeks or so before I can cut it.

April's bought me a book to read

It's actually quite funny.  It's been ages since I last read a book.  Podcasts and tablet watching films and TV series has been the order of the day over the past few years.

April actually bought it for herself as the books she's been reading are aimed at women and finds they have sexist undertones...

The Behemoth

I cooked a 3kg leg of lamb for 8 on Sunday and as far as I can tell nobody died. I quite enjoy it but I do get a bit hot and bothered towards the end. And a roast dinner isn't really what you need after that.
