Pretty cousins
April couldn't find a matching one small enough for Florence so had to get her sewing kit out to modify a big one and a baby grow. Excellent work April.

That's $30 down the drain
Somebody or something knocked one of my new Metallica baubles off the tree. I might need to bubble wrap the floor next year.
Parenting is easy
April was on a night out with the NCT lot on Wednesday. It's easy really... These photos were taken during bouts of feeding and screaming.
The three stages of ham
We're round Steve's for Christmas so I said we'd do a ham and get a load of cheese. Here's some photos of the mighty ham. 3kg.
Christmas playlist
A friend asked me to compile an alternative Christmas playlist for their part last Sunday. Now to try and hijack their Bluetooth speaker.

I'm pretty sure this wiki page was written by Chris Morris
A few members of my team have been investing in crypto currencies so I wanted to find out a little more about them as I really have no idea.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin
Here's a section from the mining section
"To be accepted by the rest of the network, a new block must contain a so-called proof-of-work.[46] The proof-of-work requires miners to find a number called a nonce, such that when the block content is hashed along with the nonce, the result is numerically smaller than the network's difficulty target.[3]:ch. 8 This proof is easy for any node in the network to verify, but extremely time-consuming to generate, as for a secure cryptographic hash, miners must try many different nonce values (usually the sequence of tested values is 0, 1, 2, 3, ...[3]:ch. 8) before meeting the difficulty target."
I stopped reading and started laughing at their use of the word nonce. It's been written in a similar tone as Chris Morris used in the Day Today when talking about Cake.

The late night shift
April's had a couple of nights out this week so i've had the baby for a few extra hours. It's not all bad, she's been a good girl (mostly).
Eek, it's snowing
It took us over 5 hours to get back home on Sunday morning rather than the usual 2. We had to do a couple of stops to feed the baby but the rest was caused by the snow and probably more importantly idiot drivers int he snow.
We were stuck on the A14 for nearly an hour at some point where up to 10 lorry drivers either couldn't get up a hill or had already crashed / buckled their wheels.
We actually saw two crashes live. One was fairly amusing where we were finally pulling away (at 2 miles an hour) from the latest row of stationary lorries and the chap directly behind me decided to pull out and try to overtake in the lane that hadn't been driven on (6 inches + of untouched snow and ice.) All we saw was him slowly sliding towards the ditch that he eventually crashed into. Dick.
Some poor AA driver probably had to get out and retrieve him.
All was good in the end though when April made it back home to her carol singing (that she'd put on) with 15 minutes to spare.
Phew!

Pub lunch
First trip to the Chaser. She didn't make a sound. Much to the delight of the two cyclists who'd decided to sit next to us.

Morning
Florence is a morning person just like me, unfortunately she's also an afternoon and evening girl too. Sleep please.
Plus check out two of my wounds, the 3rd on my back was oozing black stuff (I assume blood) this morning after my bath. I might get April to take a look later...
Hello baby
Florence is quickly becoming the new 'cat' pic.
Here she is this morning on top of me whilst April grabs a quick shower.
All I want for Christmas is a new...
...hand brake.
Our cleaners still have an issue with parking on our drive. We're about to run out of wood so not sure what they're going to do next week.
