April was on a night out with the NCT lot on Wednesday.  It's easy really... These photos were taken during bouts of feeding and screaming.

I stopped reading and started laughing at their use of the word nonce. It's been written in a similar tone as Chris Morris used in the Day Today when talking about Cake.

The late night shift

April's had a couple of nights out this week so i've had the baby for a few extra hours.  It's not all bad, she's been a good girl (mostly).

Eek, it's snowing

It took us over 5 hours to get back home on Sunday morning rather than the usual 2.  We had to do a couple of stops to feed the baby but the rest was caused by the snow and probably more importantly idiot drivers int he snow.

We were stuck on the A14 for nearly an hour at some point where up to 10 lorry drivers either couldn't get up a hill or had already crashed / buckled their wheels.

We actually saw two crashes live.  One was fairly amusing where we were finally pulling away (at 2 miles an hour) from the latest row of stationary lorries and the chap directly behind me decided to pull out and try to overtake in the lane that hadn't been driven on (6 inches + of untouched snow and ice.)  All we saw was him slowly sliding towards the ditch that he eventually crashed into.  Dick. 

Some poor AA driver probably had to get out and retrieve him.

All was good in the end though when April made it back home to her carol singing (that she'd put on) with 15 minutes to spare.

Phew!

Pub lunch

First trip to the Chaser.  She didn't make a sound.  Much to the delight of the two cyclists who'd decided to sit next to us.

Here's my wound 11 days after the operation.  Got the stitches out yesterday.

Our cleaners still have an issue with parking on our drive.  We're about to run out of wood so not sure what they're going to do next week.

Finally got round to handing my dvd and bluray collection over to one of the high street second hand entertainment shops and this is what they offered (which I accepted).

£95.82

Not bad at all, I scanned them all using music magpie's app but didn't get anywhere near this.  Not bad really.  Most of them went for £0.01 but few big ticket boxed sets made the difference.

I have them all recorded anyway so don't really feel i'll ever miss out.
