I had a routine eye check up with my optitican a couple of weeks ago and she spotted an issue. She noticed a tiny bleed in my right eye and forwarded on a recommendation to see a specialist to my doctor. Within a couple of hours I had someone calling me from Maidstone hospital to arrange an appointment at there rapid access unit the next day. My eyesight is completely fine but due to the location of the haemorrhage i've now been referred to another specialist who i'm seeing on Thursday. The big problem is that to look at my eyes properly they need to put some stuff in my eyes to make them dilate which has the side effect of me not being able to drive. Luckily a couple of friends helped out last time, this week is going to be tricky as due to the time of the appointment April will need to be back for the kids.
