3 days a week in the office, no alcohol during working hours policy. That's they're first 2 stikes! I jest of course, it's been fine. Lots of reading and lots of online training. Urgh.

Second part of our two shot
Really good fun and we completed the mission with only one more death. That is until I tried to unlock the chest to collect our reward. I managed to unlock it but forgot about checking for traps. Doh! I died.
Text book
There was an inflatable tackle machine at the last training session of the minis season. I got top score. It measures how hard you hit it. 165! I was getting high 30s before realising if you give it a good squeeze it bumps the score up.

I start on Monday
I got the all clear from HR and I start first thing on Monday. It's been a ball ache but all sorted now. It'll be nice to get paid again.

Outsourced referencing companies are shit!
I'm due to start a new role on Monday but am hit with delays by the referencing company they are using. There's been movement recently but i'm getting chased to chase up some of the references I have given. I've got in touch and the referencing company hasn't even contacted them. FFS! Hopefully i've sent the last pieces they need and it gets sorted by the weekend.

The kids went back to school yesterday (finally!) so I had one more day with them. One of the parents couldn't find child care so asked if we (me) could help out. Of course I can. It's actually a lot easier to handle them when they have a friend as they stay out of your hair.
