I was offered a role last week and was waiting for another off this week, I accepted the second offer on Monday. Still waiting for contracts to come through etc. but that's a bit of a relief. Realistically I won't start till after the Easter holidays so that will be 111 days not working! The longest before as a contractor was 88 days.
This role is a 1 year FTC, the other role was a day rate contract but only for 4 months.
I only managed 1 session at the gym last week as I had a bit of a cold and was busy in London for a couple of days. What a view!
I played a full 80 mins for Leigh on Saturday. It was a really great game but we ended up losing by a point from a penalty with 2 mins to go. Looks like I'll be playing this weekend too!
We haven't cooked mussels in a while so I made Moules Mariniere. Flo and her friend enjoyed them. Arthur less so. Good job I bought a tub of prawns to go with them as Arthur devoured the lot!
The spell jammer crashed into a giant god's heart. As you do. We also met / killed a death slaad and met / not killed an angel (with only one wing). Tonight i'm back to the pub for more Call of Cthulhu.
We went to see And Zaltzman last night at the Tunbridge Wells Trinity theatre and he was once again excellent.
Our characters are currently in the Astro Plane. And yes, my Shield Guardian is sporting a chainsaw!
I went to the vets yesterday to pick up some meds for Arwen and they now have a cat park where you can park your cat away from the dogs in the waiting area
April dragged me out to the Forum on Sunday night after a very hectic weekend. I'm glad she did as the two bands we saw were excellent. I didn't catch the support acts name but they were very good. So too were Hot Wax.
It was friend's birthday last Friday and she held it at the rugby club. It was a good one! Always is with the rugby coaches!
WE popped to the garden centre on Saturday and it has a butchers attached to it. We bought some ribs! And a whole fillet of beef.
