A bit wet this morning

 Rugby training may have to be moved on Sunday, this was yesterday and it's supposed to be wet again today.

Helping out the club

 My friends at the rugby club needed help running a rugby festival for the surround schools so I said I could help out.  I still had half a day's holiday to use up this month so thought why not.  90 kids (yr 6) from around 10 local schools played tag rugby all afternoon in the rain.  What's not to enjoy?

Mothers day

 Last Sunday was mothers day.  It coincided with April's birthday on Saturday.  So it was basically April weekend!  I did drag April to wet rugby training in the morning though and I also got out to watch the football late afternoon, so she didn't get it all her way.

A bit wet this morning with the dog

 I only walked round the racecourse and the rugby pitches this morning, but that was enough for me to get soaked.

Luckily the weather looks good for Sunday so wherever we are we'll be fine.

Today's walk

 Bit of a long soggy walk this morning.  The swan didn't like the dog coming over to say hello.

Probably a wise decision

Yesterday's u6 rugby training was moved last minute to a different venue.  I think it was probably wise.  These are the pitches we use.  Might have got a little wet.  The rain held off yesterday morning too.

I had to run the session again as Jon was away but it went pretty smoothly.

Nice late winters day

 Back to the old routine, here's Tonbridge in a little morning sun.  The rugby pitches look okay, a little heavy but would be fine to play on Sunday.  Unfortunately it's forecast to rain during the session, so might not be much fun for the little ones.

 The park and rugby pitches have flooded again.  We'll have to go somewhere else for the u6 rugby which starts again this Sunday.

Wet legs

April took Flo for a crash course in bike riding this morning. This meant I had to walk to rugby tots with Arthur. His legs got a little wet whilst sitting in his pram.

There's still a little bit of standing water at the club, but should be fine for the return of the u6s on Sunday.

 

Rugby coaching might be a little wet on Sunday

 The area around the clubhouse has flooded again.  Let's hope it has a chance to drain out before Sunday's u6 training.

 Josie wanted to go out in the rain so we let her out.  We then forgot about her for a couple of hours then finally let her back in.  Other than annoyed she was fine.  Warmed herself up with the fire.

We got a little wet on Sunday

 Rugby under 6s (and 5s) was wet on Sunday.  Flo still enjoyed herself though.  Here she is warming up with daddy's dry rugby shirt.

Tonbridge Pride

 We went to Tonbridge Pride a couple of weekends ago.  It was a bit of a wash out during the day but was still well attended.
